I'm in dire need of high flow rate housings. Also, which micron filter will I use with these housings?

Default Re: High Flow Rate Housings

Here are the high flow rate housings:
Stainless Steel ST-BC Commercial Water Filter Systems for Heavy-Duty Industrial Filtration from Pentek
The biggest one holds five 40 inch filters.
Pentek ST-BC-20 Water Filter Housings and Ametek STBC20 High Temperature Stainless Steel Water Filtration

Here are 10 micron 40 inch filters that fit in the housings. They each allow 20 gpm at .2 psi drop.
Liquatec SDF-25-4010 Water Filters and Liquatec SDF254010 Sediment Water Filter
Since you need 100 gpm, you could use 5 of these and have only .2 psi pressure drop. If you think you can handle more pressure drop, then you could get a smaller housing and fewer cartridges.

Here is a 5 micron filter (you are currently using 10 micron, and the filter above is 10 micron) that is thermally bonded and more popular for high temperature water or industrial applications. It is more expensive, and allows for 9 gpm at 2 psi drop. So you would need many more filters if you go with this filter.
Pentek PD-5-40 Sediment Water Filter and PD5-40 water filters 155770 made of polypropylene

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
