Default Re: CFBC-10 vs CBC-10

The CBC-10 is carbon block technology using powdered AC and binder. The CFBC-10 is Fiberdyne technology using powdered AC impregnated fiber. The cartridges perform similarly because the amount of activated carbon exposed is similar. The CBC-10 has more carbon by weight and the CFBC-10 handles higher dirt loadings. The initial pressure drop will be similar but the CBC will load up quicker under high dirt loadings. Also, the CBC-10 is a little less expensive than the CFBC-10.

Thank you,
