Re: Lake Water Water Filtration- low pressure Is there any rerason you can't make your pressure switch go to, say, 30/50, or 25/45? With that low of a setting, you might fond that filters will cause too much pressure lose and either fill up right and cut off your water or the micron rating would have to be large enough to not be as effective as you might want.
Try a graduated approach. Use two filters, one a 50-micron screen and then a 20 micron pleated filter. These you can wash out and reuse a number of times.
When you draw water into a pot, do you see sediment or discoloration?
