Default Economically eliminate chlorine?

I want to eliminate chlorine in my house? Do you know of a good unit to buy? Someone told me the everpure t20 but I was wondering if there was something more economical?

It sounds like you want to remove chlorine from your whole house. Is that correct?
If so, you need a chlorine filter such as the GAC-20BB which is big enough to give you good flow through your whole house. http://www.waterfilters.net/culligan/wholehouse/replacement_filters/GAC-20BB.htm
You also need a housing (http://www.waterfilters.net/culligan/wholehouse/housings/20_BigBlue.htm) and the bracket and wrench (see housing page).

If you just want chlorine filtered from your drinking water, you could get an RO system, or a more affordable drinking water system.

My water softener has a 1" inlet/outlet.
What do you recommend for the inlet/outlet size of the big blue?
Will the big blue reduce my water pressure?
Is the big blue just as good as the everpure t20?

Any filters can reduce your water pressure. The specs on the product page show the pressure drop per flow rate. I recommended a system that will have little or no noticeable pressure drop.

I'd probably recommend a 1 inch inlet/outlet on the big blue housings if that is what your pipe is.

Everpure generally is intended for undersink systems. The Pentek big blue systems are generally intended for whole house systems. The Pentek system would be more appropriate for you. Note that Pentair owns both Pentek and Everpure.

Thank you,
