Default Water Softener Needed
I am in desperate need of a water softener. 3 people use our water all of the time, and 7 people use it on the weekends. Also...13 grains per gallon. Please advise.

A softener like this will regenerate approximately once per week in your circumstances: SFT-100DM-WF Metered Water Softener with Clack CK10 Valve.

If you need some really good water softener then i would advise you here
Replacement Water Filters & Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Filtration Systems, Whole House Water Softeners, UV Sterilizers, Drinking Water Filtering & Purification Equipment - Isopure Water :
its working great for me and i m totally satisfied with it..

I get my water softeners and replacement cartridges from here...
