Default Microns?

When it states 1 micron and 30 microns, what does that mean? Does it mean that one micron filters out more stuff?

That is correct. The 1 micron filters out more sediment. It means it
filters down to 1 micron. For comparison purposes, your hair is about
40 microns in width. So, 1 micron is very small. Some people like to
filter out more and go for the 1 micron but then you are changing the
filter more often because it clogs up faster.
