Default Old Filter vs. New Filter System

When I moved into my house 8 years ago, there was an undersink filter. I did not use it but now I wish to start using it. The filter is a Great Bear Puritap 1400F manufactured by Everpure. Which of your filters would be compatible or should I just update the whole system?

It is a good idea to update your system because parts can wear out and the technology is also getting better and better. Some manufacturers recommend changing the system every 5-10 years.

Here are a couple good options for a new RO system. RO water is the best because of the RO membrane which reduces dissolved solids such as nitrates, sodium, barium, etc.
