Default D10 filter producing egg smell

I have a very bad smell from the D10 filter I have in my system sy-2000 (it smells like bad egg) even though I changed it less than 3 months ago.

Default Re: D10 filter producing egg smell

The D-10 is not the highest quality filter available for your system. You may be experiencing a hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) surge in your water supply, which the D-10 is not able to handle. A better filter for your circumstances will be the D-40 Culligan D-40 replacement filter and Culligan D40 under sink water filter.

Thank you,
