Default Culligan vs Pentek

I have two questions about the Culligan Shower Filter-SR-115. How long will this filter last? I take a shower every day-approx 15min. How does this unit compare to Pentek kdf-158673 filter ?

Default Re: Culligan vs Pentek

SR-115: Replace the shower filter every 3-6 months or every 5,000 gallons

The Pentek 158673 KDF filter reduces more contaminants. KDF reduces iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, and bacteria from water. The SR-115 filter does not have KDF in it.
