RV Whole House (2 canister filter system)

Please recommend replacement water filter cartridge for the following application:

We live full time in an RV (= whole house) hooked to a rural town water system (high alkaline water).
We have a 2 canister filter system (uses 2 1/2" x 9 3/4" filters), in-line just before entering the house.
Canister 1 now is pleated sediment filter. Canister 2 takes care of all the rest.
Frequency of changing filters isn't important - we'll do what we need to do to get the best water possible.
What do you recommend for the maximum possible filtration / highest quality water?

I might mention that your flow rate and pressure drops would be better if you had bigger filters.
The 10 inch BB would probably be a little better for you.
