Default RO vs. Whole House

We want to clean up the water in our house. Since we don't know anything about them, can you tell me the difference between a whole house filtering system and reverse osmosis?

Default Re: RO vs. Whole House

A whole house system can deal with all the water that enters your home and "clean up" the water that is used for everything. It can reduce undissovled sediments and smell as well as make the water taste better. A reverse osmosis system is used only for drinking water and can reduce fluoride and dissovled sediments that are in your water. I hope this is helpful.

Thank you,
