Default GE GWF filters vs. MWF Filters

I ordered three GE GWF filters and received three MWF filters instead. Did these replace the GE FWF filters? Please advise.

GE replaced the GWF with the MWF filter. The GWF is no longer made and is no longer available. The MWF is the replacement that GE recommends for the GWF cartridge. The MWF filters more contaminants than the GWF.

There is a GSWF filter cartridge that is longer and skinnier than the GWF/MWF filters. It is located here:
