Default GE Fridge confused

Length issue. I do NOT have a Monogram refrigerator but my FXRC needs replacement. Mine appears to be a regular GE refrigerator. The new MWF plus adapter is WAY to long. GE tells me that the MXRC absolutely will NOT fit my unit. Since the MXRC does replace the FXRC in other units I can't see why it would not work in mine.

Default Re: GE Fridge confused

It can be difficult to get the correct filter for the GE refrigerator. The GE Monogram refrigerators do use the GE MXRC. The GE Profile refrigerator models, GE Hotpoint refrigerator models, and regular GE refrigerators that used the GE Culligan FXRC water filter should now use the GE MWF water filter with adapter.

Thank you,
