Default Rotten Eggs

I currently have the NCP-10 filter. Is there a better filter to reduce odor from my well water? I have a rotten egg smell.

The NCP-10 is only carbon impregnated, which means there is not that much carbon in that filter. You will do much better to improve taste and odor problems with a GAC-10 found at this link: GAC-10 water filters and Pentek GAC10 drinking water filter 155109 from Ametek, USFilter, and Culligan Alot more carbon, and alot more contaminant removal, especially the taste and odor issue.

Thank you,

Gives a little more detail. What water tests do you have? Is the smell coming from cold or hot water? Hopw many gallons per day do you want to treat--whole house or just one faucet for drinking?

It is difficult to suggest a treatment without know more details.
