| I am presently using GE FXWTC filters. The specs tell me that this filter reduces Chlorine taste & odor. I am searching for a filter with the same dimensions that reduces Chlorine by 99% not just taste & odor. What can you recommend? |

| The GAC (granular activated carbon) filters do the best job on chlorine because of the extended contact time. You need to get a pretty good sized system or else your flow rate will be reduced to much. GAC-20BB GAC-20BB drinking water filter and Pentek GAC20-BB water filters 155249 for 20 inch Big Blue whole house systems This will reduce the chlorine to chloride particles, which has no noticeable taste and odor. This is the most traditional method of reducing chlorine Thank you, WaterFilters.NET |
