Default Magnesium and Calcium

Are there pitcher filter that remove magnesium and calcium?

I have a cat with a urinary tract infection issue and apparently these minerals encourage the problem.

If the filter can modify the pH to something like 6 or 6.5 even better since that's best for the cat.

Perhaps this sounds a little crazy, but the vet told us to buy bottled water, which I'd like to stop doing.
