 Pentek EP-20BB Filter I'm currently using a 20 inch x 4 and 5/8 inch Pentek EP-20BB filter for filtering water from my well. The filters used to last about 4 months. Now they are lasting only a few weeks before slowing down. I used to use a pleated paper type 20 inch filter but it began to stink because of bacterial buildup. Can you recommend a filter that will last longer?      |

| Re: Pentek EP-20BB Filter Carbon filters should not be used without a pre-filter, and pleated cellulose are not appropriate because of bacterial issues.
