Pentek S1-20BB pleated Cellulose filter

I've been told that a Pentek S1-20BB pleated Cellulose filter Cart should not be used with well water is that true? It's for a Big Blue filter.

You are correct. The S1 series filters can break down from the small quantities of bacteria that are in all wells.

The DGD series filters, however, will work nicely for well water.
