Default 150015 #10 Inch High Temperature Water Filter

I am about to purchase your 150015 #10 Inch High Temperature Water Filter
for filtering SEDIMENT from the hot water input line to my residential
dishwasher. That may seem like overkill, but I cannot find a smaller filter
housing and cartridge that can take 140 degree hot water. If you know of a
smaller system, I would appreciate it if you let me know what it is.

Anyway, can you suggest the appropriate 10 inch high temperature filter
cartridge for this housing? I'm inclined toward the WP-5 Filter, but would
welcome your expertise on this before I place an order with you.

The high temperature system that you mentioned is the only thing I can think of for the dishwasher. We haven't seen any specific dishwasher filters from any manufacturers.

The WP-5 is a good filter option for what you are describing. It is a 5 micron sediment filter. Since this is going directly to the dishwasher, you could opt for a 1 micron filter. The lower the micron rating; the more sediment is removed. It also slows the flow rate but since this is directly to a dishwasher, I don't think it would be a problem. 1 micron filters will fill up faster than 5 micron filters since they reduce more sediment. You could always try both to see which you prefer. The PD-1-934 is a 1 micron sediment filter for high temperatures. You could also use the P1 since your temp is not as high as 175 deg F.

Thank you,
