Default Inline Filter for Flat and Sodium tasting Water

I have a whole house soft water softener, and an under sink RO system. I have now have a Matag refrig with water line/ice maker. I don't like the taste at the fridge. Flat, and maybe a bit of sodium? Is there an inline filter I can add to the 3/8" water line to the fridge (or an undercounter model) that I can plumb in? What would you suggest?

Here are a lot of inline filter options. As you can see, there are quite a few.

If you have sodium in your water, you could use a deionization inline filter that reduces sodium and other minerals.
You could get something like this filter:

You would also need to buy the 3/8" valved head and then the bracket to mount the system. You could install this inline to your refrigerator and this would do a lot more than the maytag filter inside the refrigerator. The valved heads are great. When you need to change the filter, you simply unscrew the old filter and the water is shut off automatically and then you screw the new filter in.

Thank you,
