I have question from this GE Merlin Tankless
Reverse Osmosis System, can this filter the salt from the water?

Yes, The Merlin is a reverse osmosis system which removes 95% of all TDS (total dissolved solids) from the water.

First, an important question: where is the salt coming from? Are you taking from the ocean and trying to survive and round world sailing trip or treating softened water? What other contaminants are being removed?

It is important to try and maintain an influent line pressure of at least 60 psi for the merlin to work as designed.
