Default GE Mongram model?

How can I tell if I have a GE Mongram model? If I purchase a filter, does it come with instructions on how to remove the one that's already installed?

What is the model # of the fridge? What is the model # of the cartridge you are replacing?

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance to you.

Thank you,

Thank you for your prompt response.

I'm not sure where the refrigerator's model number is located. There's a sticker on the bar code on back of the refrigerator that reads TFY 2ZZP.

The front of the refrigerator reads GE "Water by Culigan," and the filter inside is a Culigan FRX, Serial Number 1657545.

I do not know how to remove the current water filter, which expired in 2005, and I would like to replace it with a new filter.

Your advice is greatly appreciated.
