Default questions about my Merlin

Hello,
I bought my Merlin from your company earlier this year, and have had good luck with it, but wanted to know about two things:
1) My water pressure going to the unit is a little over 40, and I'm getting around 34 oz./minute, which seems low. It's always given me this output, so I can't see that it's a clogged filter or anything like that. (I bought the unit earlier this year)
2) The literature enclosed with the unit said that it would be a bit noisy until the air was purged from the unit, but it is still noisy.
Perhaps these two problems are related. What is your best guess? I don't mind the noise, but I would really like to get higher/faster output from the Merlin.
Thanks!

These recommend 60 psi steadily. The higher the incoming pressure the better the water production. A booster pump would be needed. This will make a big difference.

Membrane production also depends on TDS and water temperature. Lower TDS and warmer water will increase water production and lower TDS will increase quality.

I can't say about the noise.
