| My Culligan filter calls for a 20" 20 micron replacement filter. I notice you have a 20 and 5 micron replacement filter. Any benefit to 5 micron? I have well water and a softener. I wouldn't want the filter to clog faster if I go with a 5 micron. I have iron and many other sediments. Please advise. |

| You wouldn't know if the 5 was a better fit for your situation until you experimented with it. Worst case scenario, it clogs within a week, and you revert back to the 20 micron. Best case scenario, it removes more yuck from the water, and makes your softener more efficient. Thank you, WaterFilters.NET |
