| I have the Culligan US-550 under sink system. I've been using the Culligan D-10 for quite a while but we just got our city water test results and I'm afraid that the D-10 isn't taking out enough. I see the Culligan D-40 is a similar filter but it takes out more. Can I use the D-40 instead of the D-10 or is that going to cause a problem? |

| Yes, you can use the Culligan D-40 in place of the Culligan D-10. The only issue you may want to investigate is the difference in water flow. If you already have problems with your water pressure going from a 5 micron filter for a 0.5 micron filter may cause water flow problems. If your water pressure is normal you probably don't have anything to worry about. Going with the Culligan D-40 replacement is probably a good idea. http://www.waterfilters.net/culligan...lters/D-40.htm |
