Default SB-2 Water Bottle with Filter

Hi, I would like to know if the water from SB-2 Water Bottle with Filter (16 oz.) can be transferred to a different container. I have a 15 month old baby who has special needs and am planning to take him on an international travel to India. He will not accept the bottle as such. So I have to transfer the water to a different container and should be able to use it for my baby's cereal and other food. How long will this filter last long?

To move the water to another container, you would squeeze the bottle so the water is passed through the filter and out the bottle where you drink from.

The Katadyn water bottles reduce more contaminants than the SB-2 water bottle so you may want to consider one of those. The same would apply to this bottle - you'd squeeze the water out of the bottle where you drink from in order to transfer it. The water has to go through the filter and the filter is connected to the drinking area.

Another option would be a camping filter that can product more water. These have a bottle adapter as well although I don't know if it would fit on your baby's bottle. You could get water quicker out of one of these than out of a drinking bottle. They are more expensive though.

The SB-2 16oz. bottle will filter:
Water bottle filter cartridge life of 20 gallons or 150 refills depending on the quality of your water.
