Default Searching for a String Wound Sediment Filter Cartridge

I am search for a String Wound Sediment Filter Cartridge for Kenmore part 4238478
AMETEK WATER FILTER HOUSING" Model PSCL 00
It accepts a "Sediment Filter Cartridge String Wound Polypropylene to 25 microns".
The Cartridge is 9 7/8 inches long, outside diameter is 2 1/2 inches and inside diameter is 1 1/8 inches wide.

I understand that Ametek is now branded Pentek but I am unable to find the corresponding Pentek number.

My question is...can you help me to locate the corresponding number for this string wound sediment filter cartridge?
At one time I was able to get these replacements at Sears.

You can use any filters that are approximately 10" L x 2.5" W in your system. All of these filters are located here:

If you want to stick with the string-wound filter like you currently have there are a couple different string-wound options in this size:
10 Micron - http://www.waterfilters.net/Pentek/wholehouse/Sediment_Filters/CW-F.htm
30 Micron - http://www.waterfilters.net/Pentek/wholehouse/Sediment_Filters/CW-MF.htm

Anything below 40 microns, you cannot see with your eye so a micron is pretty small. The 30 micron string wound is the closest to the 25 micron you currently have. They make the 25 micron in the spun polypropylene. Spun polypropylene is sturdier than string wound polypropylene.

You may also need a replacement o-ring. The o-ring seals the housing cap to the housing sump in order to prevent leaks. It should be replaced every couple of filter changes:
