Default Re: Well Water with Rotten Egg Smell Sediment

Here is a link to our "whole house systems" page. Whole house water filters and replacement wholehouse filters If you scroll down in the right column you will come to the BBFS-22 and BBFS-222. These are excellent choices. They come pre-plumbed together in series and pre-mounted on a hanging bracket. These both use standard size filters, which are available in a huge variety of types for whatever type of filtration you wish to achieve. The BBFS-222 is frequently used for well water situations with the first filter being a large sediment filter (maybe 50-75 microns), followed by a much tighter sediment filter (maybe 5 or 1 micron), followed lastly by a carbon block filter to remove gases and chemicals that affect taste and odor. This is a highly effective system for whole house filtration. There are many other smaller options suitable for situations where less water is being used, however the triple filter setup is most effective even with smaller housings and filters.
