It is recommended that the CTA-RS9-10 be replaced every 1 to 3 years.
For best results it is recommended that you change all of the reverse osmosis filters at the same time. It is also recommended that you replace the sediment filter in the first stage more often than the membrane.
The first stage of the UF-10 RO System contains a 5 micron sediment filter. This filter is compatible with the Pentek P5 water filter:

It is recommended that this filter be changed every 3 to 6 months.
The second stage of the UF-10 RO Drinking Water System is the Rainsoft CTA-RS9-10 membrane:
